Proposed changes to the Family Law Act to protect family violence victims

The Commonwealth Attorney General recently announced proposed changes to the Family Law Act 1975 that would prohibit self-represented parties in family law matters who have been charged or convicted of a family violence offence from directly cross-examining other parties.
